Welcome to the World football draft game for the 2000s. Below is a link to see how each participant did in the Preliminary round of drafting, when picking their 12 man squad:

With the culmination of Round 1, below is the verified results and with it the 8 players who've made it into the Quarter-final stage:

You now get to choose one player from your opponents team in the 1st round to swap for one of your players. The idea of this is help make your XI stronger overall for the new challenge in the Quarter-final.
If you feel that a swap for one of your players won't improve your team, then of course it isn't necessary to do so. You are allowed to swap any of your 12 players, for any of your opponents' 12.
A key aspect of this round is that you can now have THREE players per country so bear that in mind when choosing your player. It will now stay as THREE players per country for the Semi-finals and Final too.
The draw for the Quarter-final stage will be posted below in due course, after which people are expected to message me their bios/tactics by Sunday 30th June. Those who have been knocked but still wish to participate in the draft, are ofcourse welcome to vote on the match threads once they're up.
